can’t sleep for the shelling and the hundreds of stories of atrocity I have heard in my first few days here in Sarajevo… shocking what has been allowed to happen to these people.  Why?

The chilling scenes of War hit me hard this morning as I arrived in the harsh Bosnian winter.  (about -15 degrees c)

Until now, I thought I was an experienced soldier… nothing could have prepared me for this.
